KIRSTINE MUNRO
Certified Irish Dancing Teacher (TCRG) and Irish Dancing Adjudicator (ADCRG)
Kirstine has been dancing since she could walk, growing up in a dancing family she was immersed in dance classes from an early age. In addition to learning Irish Dancing under the tuition of her mother Kay Munro, for many years she studied Ballet, Tap and Jazz at the then Theatre Arts Mackay (formerly Warralong Dance Centre).

Kirstine has gained extensive experience in the competitive side of Irish Dancing, qualifying to compete at the World Irish Dancing Championships many times, going on to compete in several World Championships, British Nationals, Great Britain Championships and All Scotland Championships.

Prior to retiring from competition dancing, Kirstine relocated to Scotland, United Kingdom to further her Irish Dancing career with a world-renowned Irish Dancing school where she represented Scotland at the World Irish Dancing Championships, British Nationals, Great Britain’s and the All Scotland’s.
Her most memorable moments during her competitive dancing career includes placing 4th in the senior mixed figure at the World Irish Dancing Championships, and along with her two sisters, being the first dancers from North Queensland, Australia to compete at the World Irish Dancing Championships.

With over 20 years teaching experience coupled with proven results in developing and coaching champion dancers, Kirstine is passionate about passing on her knowledge and experience to future dancing champions and continuing her mothers work of fostering Irish Dancing in North Queensland, Australia.
